The Empty Chair
This chair is empty, but only for now. The inaugural Strategic Human Resources New England retreat starts one week from today. The venue for this event is the historic Omni Mount Washington hotel in Bretton Woods, New Hampshire.
Activities start on Sunday afternoon, extend though Monday and end mid-afternoon on Tuesday.
This retreat features six keynoters, a plethora of workshops, The HR Marketplace, the SmartBar Hall, and the Conservatory Hub with an internet lounge, media center, HR Bookstore and a Barista Station.
The retreat social media channels include Linkedin, Twitter, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram. The Twitter and Instagram hashtag is #SHRNE12. IF you will not be attending the retreat in person, you can be present vicariously by following these hashtags. Participant thoughts and host announcements will be shared through LinkedIn & Twitter. Instragram will be used to share candid pictures taken throughout the retreat.
This chair, or one like it, will not be empty during the retreat. Instead, keynoters, presenters, perhaps even vendors and attendees will be asked to sit in it and share their retreat reflections.
