SHRM T Minus Two

As most conventions have themes, all attendees should have a personal purpose for going. This purpose will guide activities and session selections.

HR is a balanced continuum of relationships, service and compliance. Relationships equals leadership. Service implies transactions. Compliance is management.

These can be extended out to core values. My HR department core values are directly derived from Air Force core values.

Integrity First develops trust through authentic leadership.

Service Before Self is the transactional piece of supporting employees expectations.

Excellence in All We Do is the no excuse management of compliance issues.

With this being said, what is the appropriate mix of session selection? 3:2:1 or 1:1:1?

I’ll answer this question later.

What about you? Are your course selections based upon a theme?, Tied into core values?, Or something else?

What is your purpose for attending?
