Why I am getting a Blackberry next spring
I have to wait until my contract allows me to get a discounted device, otherwise, a blackberry is $400.
Right now I carry two devices – my HP iPAQ PDA and a Motorola LG cellphone with Verizon as my carrier. Both have independent, albeith conncurrent contact lists. The cellphone gives me text messaging, internet access, and some web access. The PDA gives me WiFi access. Still, carrying both requires both shirt pockets.
I would imagine that there is a solitare game application available for the Blackberry.
The cellphone has a camera, the PDA has picture software.
Both have SD memory card slots. What does that really mean?
Can I bluetooth the two for synchronization?
Getting complex as I type. Convenience trumps complexity. Cash costs trumps convenience. Frugality wins.
BOTTOM LINE – I am tired of carrying two devices and having to wetware synchronizations between the two devices and my personal desktop computer.
