An Agenda Free Day
I tried one today. No to-do list above the daily administrivia & the weekly activity plan.
It worked much better than I thought and was satisfyingly liberating. Not only that, I feel I got as much, if not more done with the flexibility to adjust into unexpected demands, requests and sudden obligations.
This was a leap forward for me. Normally, my last task of each day is to list the seven things that will be done tomorrow.
My guiding concept was to go through one open project folder and work it until completion or at least one stage of phase. Two plans drafted H1N1 & E-Verify implementation. At least several good ideas spontaneously fell out of the sky on advancing other open projects.
I’ll give it another go tomorrow.
