the Maine HR Cafe

Well, I started another HR blog first – HR in Hi Def. I was, and still am, learning about the blogging world, content, context and configuration control.

For the Hi Def blog, I set up an independent accounts, both gmail and word press. What a nuisance that was! I had to log out of my personal wordpress blog to get into my professional word press blog. Over a short time, the process and keystrokes became tedious. Since then, I have learned that I can have two, well mulitple blogs, under this one account. So here I am.

I am now letting HR in Hi Def go dormant while migrating my dialogue forward to here. An announcement over there will be posted that I am now over here. The 365 HR Blogs quest will continue, time permitting.

So why here, why now, why this? Well, overtime, I seem to have determined that there may be a dearth of HR Blogs here in Maine. That is not to say that there is a dearth of Maine HR related web content. There are numerous and appropriate sites, along with other media, that do support and advance the profession.

Is this blog needed? Perhaps. There seems to be a void, a niche, that can be filled. Time will tell.

Am I the one to do it? Perhaps. Time will tell.

I will hope that you will find the content friendly, reliable and useful while contributing to the dialogue in ways that are within the positive philosophies of sharing, learning and inspiring.
